Williamsburg Area Transport (WAT) provides a transportation system to citizens of James City County, the City of Williamsburg, and the Bruton District of York County. Our major objective is to ensure services meet the social and business needs of our community by providing a seamless coordinated regional transit system serving residents, visitors, and students through fixed routes and transportation service for the disabled.

• Increased Frequency change: Beginning 10/24/09, all increased frequency buses will not run on Saturdays. All other days increased frequency is offered are still in effect.
• Please Note: The William and Mary route (Green line) will resume normal operating schedule at 9:00 AM on Friday, January 15, 2010.
